I'll dominate 'serious fighter' Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to publicize next month's bout.

Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.

Fighter's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.

"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."

Civil Exchange

Despite these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.

Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.

Targeting Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.

"I acknowledge that."

Legitimate Opponent

In spite of saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's Background

Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Attraction

Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, frequently receiving substantial financial rewards.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.

"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As the two fighters participated in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually proceeding.
